Celebrating Miriam's birthday is part of our Christmas holidays.
13 years ago, she was a most precious gift! Hard to believe that we have a teenager in the house now!
These pictures describe her and her interests well. But most importantly, she is a believer in Christ which gives everything she does a new purpose.
I thank God for her in our lives and for the positive influence she has on everyone!

Miriams Geburtstag zu feiern, ist Teil unserer Weihnachtsfeierlichkeiten.
Vor 13 Jahren war sie ein kostbares Geschenk! Kaum zu glauben, dass wir nun eine Jugendliche im Hause haben!
Die folgenden Bilder beschreiben sie und ihre Interessen gut. Am wichtigsten allerdings ist, dass sie an Jesus Christus glaubt, was ihrem ganzen Tun einen neuen Sinn gibt.
Ich danke Gott fuer ihr Leben und ihren positiven Einfluss auf uns alle!

Miriam enjoys circus art! This year she is taking a handful of classes: silking, handstand, partner acrobatics, unicycling, tumbling. I have to admit this sport is not cheap! Why then such a splurge of classes? Showing discipline, talent, and commitment, she was named the Beginner of the Year. That allows her to take as many classes for free as she would like.

Miriam treibt Zirkussport! Dieses Jahr macht sie gleich eine Handvoll Zirkuskurse: Tuch, Handstand, Partnerakrobatik, Einradfahren und Bodengymnastik. Ich muss zugeben, dass dieser Sport nicht gerade billig ist! Warum dann so eine Menge Kurse? Indem sie Disziplin, Talent und Einsatz zeigte, wurde sie Anfaengerin des Jahres. Das ermoeglicht ihr, so viele Kurse kostenlos zu belegen, wie sie moechte.
Was fuer eine Auszeichung!

Miriam within her Challenge A class at Classical Conversations. It is an awesome program that includes Rhetoric, Debate, Exposition & Composition, Research, Logic, and Grammar. I am happy to say that this hybrid school is just the right fit for her!
Miriam in ihrer Challenge A Klasse bei Classical Conversations. Das ist ein hervorragendes Schulprogramm und beinhaltet folgende Faecher: Rhetorik, Debatte, Schriftliche Darstellung und Aufsatz, Recherche, Logik, and Grammatik. Ich kann mit gutem Gewissen sagen, dass dieser Ansatz (die Klasse trifft sich nur einmal woechentlich) genau das Richtige fuer sie ist!
