My Eliane is turning 8. Wasn't she small and chubby just the other day?
From the time when she was little, she has been my ever-moving, stormy child. She has grown so much!
Sometimes, she tries to defy gravity climbing doorways, trees, and certain things that weren't even meant to be climbed on.
For the longest time, her trademark were her two bobbing braids, bouncing happily along just as she hops through life. Now that she started to do her hair by herself, those cute braids are rarely seen. I miss them.
I am thankful to God for Eliane and all that she has brought into our lives.

Meine Eliane wird 8 Jahre alt. War sie nicht eben noch klein und pausbaeckig? Wie ist sie nicht gewachsen!Manchmal stellt sie die Erdanziehung in Frage, indem sie Tuerrahmen und Baeume erklettert oder noch ganz andere Dinge, die nie zum Klettern gedacht waren.
Lange Zeit war ihr Markenzeichen die beiden Zoepfchen, die lustig zu ihrem Lebensgallop mithopsten. Nun, da sie begonnen hat, ihr Haar selbst hochzustecken, bekommen wir ihre Zoepfe kaum noch zu sehen. Ich vermisse sie!
Ich bin Gott dankbar fuer unsere Eliane und alles, wodurch sie unser Leben bereichert.
